Laura has her Masters in Archaeology and has a strong desire to help people catalogue and understand their private collections of artifacts as well as archaeological sites on their land. It is very important to document these collections so that there is a record of them for historical purposes, and to do this in a way that allows the person to continue to enjoy their collections. The collection of artifacts is prohibited but grandfathered collections are treated differently because they were accumulated when we didn't have the awareness for cultural artifacts that we now have.
